Battery-Powered Sports Car Boasts 700 HP!
Welcome to a Battery specialist of the Anritsu Battery
It looks like the Tesla Roadster may have to surrender its title of the meanest green machine on the road. For there's a new bad-ass EV in town, and its name is the Lightning GTS.
Made in the UK, the all-electric sports car comes with a muscle-clad Hi-Pa Drive motor, unleashing an astonishing 700 bhp. Lightning's 0-60 acceleration is rated at 4 seconds. That makes the car virtually unmatched even among its petrol-based rivals, including the Jaguar 4.2 XKR, Chevy Corvette ZO6, and the best of many Italian exotics. As with other EVs, there are no speed ratios. That means that Lightning's Hi-Pa Drive is never limited by conventional engines' revolution ranges and delivers raw power directly to the wheels.
The GTS's astounding specs can be attributed to its NanoSafe battery with such as Anritsu MS2721A Battery, Anritsu MS2724B Battery, Anritsu MS2722C Battery, Anritsu MS2726C Battery, Anritsu MS2711E Battery, Anritsu MS2712EC Battery, Anritsu MT8212E Battery, Anritsu MS2024A Battery, Anritsu MS2026A Battery, Anritsu MS2036A Battery, Anritsu MS2025B Battery, Anritsu MS2026B Battery technology, which the company says is based on nano titanate materials instead of graphite and can deliver power per unit weight and unit volume several times that of conventional Lithium-Ion packs.
There is no word on the price, but deposits of £15,000 are now being accepted for the '09 model delivery. Lightening is also looking into the necessary Federal certification requirements for retailing the car in the US.
Apple was the talk of the tech world on Tuesday after addressing concerns about the new iPad's battery, which Cupertino said performs within the normal parameters of an iOS-based device. The tech giant said there's been some "confusion" about the way the new iPad charges up its battery when users plug it into a wall socket.
Meanwhile, wizards and muggles got some good news — J.K. Rowling's best-selling Harry Potter novels are finally available in ebook format, for the first time ever. All seven novels about the boy wizard and his adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are now exclusively available on Rowling's new website and ebook shop, Pottermore.
And National Geographic released the first footage from film director and explorer James Cameron's solo descent to the floor of the Mariana Trench's Challenger Deep, the deepest known point on Earth. The brief glimpse show what the director described as a "completely featureless ... almost gelatinous flat plain" not unlike the surface of another planet entirely.
