Specifications and features compared
Welcome to a Panasonic Digital Camera Battery specialist of the Panasonic Camcorder Battery
The Redmi Note was launched in India yesterday with a competitive price tag of Rs 8,999 and Xiaomi is all set to commence the pre-registrations for the device at 6:00PM today on Flipkart. When it comes to competition, no popular brands like Samsung, Sony or Apple offer such specs with this price tag. We found two phones that fall close (if not above) to the offering Xiaomi gives with its Redmi Note. Here’s how the Alcatel OneTouch Flash and the Panasonic P81 fare when they are pitted against the Xiaomi Redmi Note.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Redmi Note is the cheapest at Rs 8,999, while the Alcatel OneTouch Flash costs Rs 9,999 and the Panasonic P81 costs Rs 12,499.
All the three smartphones don a 5.5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 267ppi density. The Panasonic P81 comes with a Gesture Play feature that allows you to draw or assign a gesture to unlock your phone or assign to specific apps with battery like panasonic CGR-B202A Battery, panasonic CGA-S303 Battery, panasonic VW-VBE10 Battery, panasonic SDR-S300 Battery, panasonic VW-VBF2E Battery, panasonic VW-VBF2T Battery, panasonic M3000 Battery, panasonic M9000 Battery, panasonic VW-VBS2E Battery, panasonic HHR-V40 battery, panasonic PV-BP17 battery, panasonic VW-VBR1E battery. The Redmi Note, on the other hand, is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
All of them are powered by a Mediatek octa-core processor. However, the Redmi Note processor locks 1.7GHz speed and pairs with 2GB RAM. The Panasonic P81 clocks 1.7GHz speed but is paired with a 1GB RAM, while the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 604 2D is clocked at 1.4GHz speed with a 1GB RAM.
Redmi Note and the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 604 2D house a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. The Panasonic P81 loses the game here with a 12-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.
All the smartphones have similar storage space with 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
On the battery front, the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 604 2D sports a 3,200mAh battery, the Redmi Note sports a 3,100mAh battery and the Panasonic P81 sports a 2,500mAh battery.
The Redmi Note runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean covered by Xiaomi’s MIUI custom interface. The Alcatel OneTouch Flash 604 2D runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and the Panasonic P81 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
All the phones have different strong points, and hence it really boils down to personal preference. To buy the Redmi Note, one has to register on Flipkart and participate in the flash sale. The first flash is set to be conducted on December 2 and registrations for this will begin on Flipkart at 6.00PM today. There is also a 4G variant of the Redmi Note which the company will launch sometime in mid December.
